TERMS & CONDITIONS

1. The “Konnichiwa Japan Spend & Win” (“Contest”) is organised by Pavilion Bukit Jalil (“Organiser”). The contest period shall commence from 1 to 20 July 2026 subject to the terms and conditions stated hereinbelow.

2. The Contest is open to all Malaysian residents aged eighteen (18) and above subject to the Terms and Conditions herein contained.

3. The following persons are not eligible to participate in this Contest:

a. all employees of the Organiser, their affiliates and/or their related companies, and members of their immediate families.

b. contest agency(ies) and advertising agencies (including its vendors and suppliers who are directly involved in the Contest) of the Organiser.

c. Retail’s staff or owners in Pavilion Bukit Jalil.

4. By participating in this Contest, the Participants agree to be bound by the Terms and Conditions of this Contest and the decision of the Organiser. The decision of the Organiser shall be final, conclusive and binding. No correspondence, enquiries, challenge, discussion, appeals or objections in respect of any decision or determination made by the Organiser will be entertained.

5. To be eligible to participate in the Contest, a participant is required to:

a. Spend a minimum of RM300 in a single receipt at Pavilion Bukit Jalil.

b. On the same date of purchase, complete the contest form via Pavilion Bukit Jalil App, answer the questions, upload the receipt and bank credit card slip to submit entry.

c. Each receipt is valid for one (1) contest entry only.

6. Participants may submit multiple entries with different receipts.

7. Contest entries are applicable for purchases made in Pavilion Bukit Jalil only and participants are required to retain original single-receipt dated within contest period, which is 1 to 20 July 2026 that matches the submission entry as proof of purchase.

8. Only original purchase receipt is accepted. Duplicate / reprint / used / top-up / reload / guest check / pre-liminary / sales order receipts are not eligible.

9. Contest entries are only valid for same-day receipts of monthly packages from tenants (e.g., beauty service packages). Receipts from subsequent days, weeks, or months will not be accepted.

10. Receipts from the following are not eligible: Parkson, Pavilion Bukit Jalil Exhibition Centre, car wash, money changer, banking services, ATM transactions, utility payments, deposit payments, purchase of cash or shopping vouchers, and temporary vendors, pushcarts, kiosks.

11. Incomplete submission of contest form or after 20 July 2026 will not be entertained and will be automatically rejected.

12. PRIZES

13. The Prize is given on an “as is” basis.


14. Holiday Package inclusive of Return International Flight from Kuala Lumpur to Japan for 2pax, 6-night twin-sharing hotel accommodation with daily breakfast, private chartered vehicle with driver on touring day (self-guided), private airport to hotel transfer (round trip) and 01 seafood buffet meal.


15. Holiday Package does not inclusive of personal travel insurance (compulsory to be borne by winners), personal expenses, shopping and optional activities, meals not listed in Point 14, tipping & gratuities, travel to/from KLIA (Kuala Lumpur International Airport) and Visa is not required for Malaysian passport holders (stays up to 90days).

16. Travel is on fixed departure dates within the January 2027 (Osaka & Tokyo Tentative Date: 12 – 18 Jan 2027) window, determined solely by Joy Paradise. The itinerary (flights, hotels, and sightseeing) is pre-arranged and cannot be customized or altered. Redemption is subject to flight seat and hotel availability. The winner must hold a valid passport with at least 6 months' validity from the travel date.

17. The prize is based on twin-sharing (2persons per room). Any request for a separate or private room is subject to a single-supplement surcharge, fully borne by the winner.

18. In particular, personal travel insurance is compulsory and is to be arranged and borne by the winner. Visa fees apply only where applicable (not required for Malaysian passport holders travelling to Japan for stays up to 90 days).

19. The Winner(s) shall be required to attend a Prize giving ceremony scheduled on 1 August 2026 to collect the Prize in person, or such other date as may be revised, and/or media events or, of which the date, time and venue will be notified by a Pavilion Bukit Jalil’s representative. All transportation, accommodation, personal expenses and any other costs incurred in relation to attending the Prize giving ceremony, gathering and/or media events shall be borne by the Eligible Winner. Failure to attend the said Ceremony shall result in the uncollected Prize being for forfeited and reallocated to the next eligible winner. Provided always that the Organiser may, at its sole and absolute discretion, permit the Prize to be collected by an authorised representative of the winner, subject to such terms and conditions as may be determined by the Organiser.

20. Following the Prize Giving Ceremony, the Grand Prize, 2nd and 3rd winners shall be required to liaise directly with Joy Paradise for the exact travel period and tour details. Winners must confirm participation and provide necessary information within two (02) days after announcement; failure to do so may result in the slot being forfeited or moved to a later date at the company's discretion.

21. All costs and expenses incurred in collecting the prize shall be borne solely by the winner.

22. All prizes are not transferable, non-refundable, and non-exchangeable for cash, credit or for any other packages. The prize must be used by the registered winner. No refund will be given for any unused portion of the tour.

23. The Organiser and Joy Paradise will not be responsible to reimburse the Prize winner with payment equal to the value of the prizes or replace with another prize of similar value if tenant/sponsor ceases or suspends its operations and business at any time during or after the Contest Period, fails or refuses to effect the transfer in favour of the winner.

24. Joy Paradise reserves the absolute right to determine all tour logistics — including dates, flight carriers, accommodation, and itinerary —and to reschedule due to flight availability or unforeseen circumstances. All decisions made by the company are final and binding.

WINNER SELECTION PROCESS

25. The more a shopper spends and answers the questions correctly during the Contest Period, the higher the chances of being selected as a winner.

26. In the event of a tie, shortlisted participants may be required to write a slogan or answer additional questions related to Pavilion Bukit Jalil, with winners determined based on the accuracy and relevance of the slogan or their responses.

27. Winners will be notified via App push notification or telephone or email stated in the Personal Information registered through Pavilion Bukit Jalil App, wherein the winner is required to verify his identity. In the event the Organiser is unable to contact the winner whether by reason of incorrect contact details provided or otherwise or the winner fails or unable to verify its identity, the Organiser reserves the right to select the next participant as the Winner. The Organiser will not be responsible for any inaccurate and/or incomplete details provided by Participant upon registration through Pavilion Bukit Jalil App.

28. The Winner of the Contest will be announced to the public either through social media or conventional communication platforms in August 2026 (or on such other date as may be revised and communicated by the Organiser). All participants are advised to stay informed by monitoring the official announcement through the designated media channels.


CONTEST PRIZE REDEMPTION

29. The Prize must be claimed by the winners in person or representative within the stipulated timeline set by the Organiser.

30. The Winners must, in addition to any other documents requested by the Organiser, produce his/her original Malaysia identity card, proof of purchase/receipt and acknowledged receipt for the relevant prize.

31. The Prize, when accepted by the Winner, shall be entirely at the risk of the Winner. To the fullest extent permitted under the law, the Organiser hereby disclaims any and all express or implied warranties in connection with the Prize and including without limitation, any implied warranty or merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose and implied warranties arising from the course of dealing or course of performance, personal injury, death, and property damage, and claims based on publicity rights, defamation, or invasion of privacy.

32. In the event that the Winner rejects or fails to redeem the Prize for any reason and/or the Prize is forfeited for any reason, the Organiser shall not be liable for any compensation to Winner.

33. All costs, charges, fees and/or expenses that are associated with the Contest including transportation, accommodation, sustenance and any other costs in relation to the collection and redemption of the Prizes shall be the sole responsibility of the Winner.


OTHER TERMS & CONDITIONS

34. In addition to the Organizer’s rights stated above, the Organiser has the right to immediately disqualify any Participant who is found or suspected to be tampering with the Contest entry submission process, and/or found or suspected to be undermining the operation and administration of the Contest by fraud, cheating or deception.

35. The Organizer and Joy Paradise reserve the right to use the Winner’s names, photographs and/or testimonial for purposes of publicity and/or advertising without any compensation and/or prior notice. Photos and videos taken during the trip maybe used by the Organiser and Joy Paradise for marketing and promotional purposes.

36. The Organizer makes no guarantee of the error free and/or uninterruptible of the Contest and will not in any manner whatsoever be held responsible for any data loss, interruption, errors that may interfere with a Participant’s ability to participate.

37. The Organiser reserves the absolute right to change, amend, delete or add to the Terms and Conditions, and/or substitute or replace the Prize without prior notice and without assigning any reasons thereof and any such changes, amendments, deletions or additions shall be effective on the posting of at the Contest website at pavilion-bukitjalil.com or Pavilion Bukit Jalil’s social media pages. By participating and continuing to participate in this Contest, the Participants agree to be bound by the Terms and Conditions including any such changes, amendments, deletions or additions as may be amended from time to time. Variation(s) of the Terms and Conditions may be communicated to the Participants through modes of communication deemed suitable by the Organiser. The Participants are advised to check the Contest website periodically to view and check for any such changes.

38. The Organiser reserves the sole and absolute right to alter or terminate this Contest or any part thereof including all the terms and conditions contained herein without giving any prior notice and no compensation in cash, credit or in kind shall be given.

39. The Organiser shall not be liable for any losses and/or damages which may be suffered by the Participants, winner and/or any other party resulting from an/or arising out of or in connection with this Contest, subsequent contest and/or the Prize given under this Contest.

40. All prize images shown in any advertisements, publicity promotions and other materials relating to the Contest are for illustration purposes only and may differ from the actual Prize.
