Pavilion REIT Malls Transformed Ramadan with Heartfelt Iftar Celebration for 600 B40 Community Members

Local families experienced cultural traditions, vibrant activities, and community connection at Pavilion Bukit Jalil.

KUALA LUMPUR, 12 MARCH 2025 - Pavilion REIT Malls transformed the PIAZZA at Pavilion Bukit Jalil into a sanctuary of compassion during Ramadan, hosting an immersive iftar experience that brought warmth and dignity to approximately 600 individuals from PPR Sri Rakyat B40 community. Far beyond a traditional charity event, the evening wove together nutritious meals, interactive workshops, and mesmerising performances that celebrated Malaysia’s rich heritage while creating meaningful connections between diverse community members.

The celebration exemplified the transformative power of corporate-community partnerships, with Pavilion REIT Malls collaborating closely with other brand partners to create a holistic experience that honoured both the spiritual significance of Ramadan and the practical needs of participating families. Children laughed while engaging in activities as parents forged new friendships, all within the welcoming environment designed to foster genuine connection and cultural appreciation.

The evening began with a vibrant array of interactive cultural activities thoughtfully designed for all ages. Families engaged in crafting workshops while the festive atmosphere was enhanced with specially arranged kiddie rides that delighted the youngest participants. WOW Beauty hosted a special makeup sharing session where professional makeup artists shared beauty tips with adult participants, creating moments of self-care and confidence. Simultaneously, children expressed their creativity through a unique collage workshop using natural resources like stone and lead, skillfully facilitated by UiTM educators.

As sunset approached, the Piazza evolved into a showcase of Malaysia's rich cultural heritage. The air filled with enchanting melodies from a Ghazal instrumental and Orkes Melayu performance by Kelab Belia Setiawanku Band. When the call to Maghreb resonated through the venue, all guests gathered in unity to break fast together over a diverse spread of traditional and contemporary dishes contributed by Pavilion REIT Malls’ tenants and partners. The cultural celebration continued with captivating Caklempong and Gamelan performances by IPG Raya Melewar Seremban, offering guests an immersive experience of Malaysia's artistic traditions.
