KUALA LUMPUR, 19 SEPTEMBER 2025 – As the full moon graced the night sky, Pavilion Bukit Jalil invited shoppers to celebrate Mid-Autumn traditions and togetherness at its “Swoon Over Mid-Autumn” Festival, which took place until 6 October 2025 at Level 2, Centre Court. This year’s festivities transformed the mall into a vibrant showcase of colourful lanterns, captivating cultural performances, interactive workshops, a spectacular lantern parade, and delectable mooncake offerings — creating the perfect setting for reliving cherished memories while making new ones with family and friends.

Pavilion Bukit Jalil sweetened the Mid-Autumn experience with an impressive spread of more than 20 varieties of mooncakes, featuring a delightful mix of halal and non-halal selections alongside traditional favourites and bold, modern creations. From beautifully packaged mooncakes that made thoughtful gifts to indulgent flavours perfect for self-enjoyment, the offerings celebrated both heritage and innovation. To elevate the experience further, shoppers also discovered a premium selection of teas thoughtfully curated to pair perfectly with mooncakes. Together, this harmonious duo invited visitors to slow down, savour every bite and sip, and celebrate the Mid-Autumn spirit in an inclusive and memorable way.

A highlight of this year’s celebration was the extensive mooncake selection, where tradition met innovation in every bite. Shoppers indulged in the delicate Bird’s Nest Mooncakes from JYNNS — a luxurious treat combining wellness with indulgence — or savoured Royce’s velvety Chocolate Mooncakes, crafted with the brand’s signature finesse. Oloiya charmed visitors with its timeless flavours, each infused with heartfelt storytelling and craftsmanship, while Yong Sheng delighted with halal-certified classics — recipes passed down through generations that evoked fond nostalgia.

For those seeking refinement, Grand Harbour presented mooncakes made with premium ingredients, while Herbal Farmer offered wholesome halal varieties such as lotus, red bean, and five nuts, each baked to perfection. To further enhance the festive experience, shoppers paired their mooncakes with refreshing teas from ChuChat, zesty cooling drinks from Mixue, or the award-winning rich flavours of YuYan Tea — each sip thoughtfully crafted to complement the season’s delicacies. Completing the festive picture, Fine Star Lanterns bathed the mall in a warm, joyful glow, creating the perfect ambience for families and friends to celebrate together under one roof.

Beyond the Centre Court, Pavilion Bukit Jalil continued to be a one-stop destination for mooncake shopping, with many tenants joining in the festive spirit. Shoppers indulged in both traditional and contemporary flavours from Grandmama’s (Level 1, Orange Zone), The Food Merchant (Level 1, Orange Zone), Lavender (Level 1, Orange Zone), Oriental Kopi (Level 1, Orange Zone), Din Tai Fung (Level 1, Orange Zone), Inside Scoop (Level 3, Pink Zone), and many more throughout the mall. To complement these festive treats, shoppers also picked up wellness teas from Que Tang Yu Fang (Level 2, Pink Zone), blending Chinese traditional herbs with modern wellness innovation. With such a wide selection of mooncakes and wellness teas under one roof, Pavilion Bukit Jalil became the perfect place to shop for Mid-Autumn favourites while soaking in the festive ambience.

To heighten the festive cheer, shoppers participated in Pavilion Bukit Jalil’s Gift-With-Purchase (GWP) campaign, where delightful rewards such as RM20 Parkson Gift Vouchers and a pair of movie passes awaited throughout the season — the perfect little treats to make shopping even sweeter. Redemptions were available on a first-come, first-served basis at the Gift Redemption Counter, Level 4 (Pink Zone), from 19 September to 6 October 2025.

The celebrations shone brightest on 4 October 2025 (Saturday) with the highly anticipated Lantern Parade. The mall came alive as families, friends, and little ones walked side by side, carrying colourful lanterns that twinkled with every step. Participation was free with registration via the Pavilion Privileges mobile app, and early registrants received exclusive goodies, including paper lanterns and festive bags, adding to the magic of the evening.
