YONG SHENG

Yong Sheng, founded in 1952 in Muar, Johor, has a history spanning over half a century. The initial purpose was to provide handcrafted pastries and snacks for the local community. In the 1960s and 70s, Yong Sheng became a beloved neighbourhood confectionery.

In the 1980s, as transportation improved, the local customers began sharing Yong Sheng products as gifts with friends and family abroad, spreading joy across borders. Foreign visitors to Muar quickly developed a fondness for our offerings, and Yong Sheng's reputation grew internationally.

Entering the new millennium, Yong Sheng expanded to new locations, continuing to delight customers far and wide.

Over time, in addition to providing delicious Chinese pastries, snacks, handcrafted gifts, wedding gift boxes, and full moon
gift boxes, preserving cultural heritage has become Yong Sheng mission. Yong Sheng aspires to pass on meaningful local traditions and the joy of authentic flavours to the next generation and bring local culture into the hands of modern people through traditional good taste
